Admittedly he is going to be underpaid wherever he goes, considering the type of production he has on the court with the limited minutes and touches he is getting. But no doubt that he was one of the steals of last year's free agency and deserves his money at a time when even pathetically average players get paid close to 8m a season with 3 years guaranteed. I still think Lin would stay in Charlotte as long as they reach a certain valuation that he feels is acceptable, he is settled there and he knows his role there. He has little to gain and much to lose by moving to another team where he needs to find and earn his place again, which is surely not what he wants after his last year in Houston and year in LA.... |
